About the Games
Following cancellation in 2021 due to COVID-19, 2022 sees the inaugural year for the Armidale Spring Games.
Created by the Armidale Regional Council and supported by the Australian Government National Bushfire Recovery Fund, The Games is a festival of sport that brings together participants from across Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales for a weekend of social sport.
With three different sporting competitions contested, the Spring Games embraces the value of sport through all ages and will see participants from three different age groups compete in some exciting competitions over the October long weekend.
Traveling teams and their supporters will have the opportunity to play some serious sport over two to three days of competition alongside the chance to explore and experience the regional, beauty, charm and sophistication of the City of Armidale.
